Koonse - son - 1874

On last Monday afternoon a little son of a Mr. Koonse, residing near Porter’s school house, in Eugene Township, while playing around a new well that had been dug thirty five feet, and left to be completed at a future day, fell to the bottom and was instantly killed. The boy was between ten and twelve years of age. His father and mother were out in Illinois visiting at the time of the accident occurred.—Newport Hoosier State
